A Message from the Superintendent

Dear Almadina Families, Students, Staff, and Community Members,

It is with great pride, humility, and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Superintendent of
Almadina Charter School.
This appointment is especially meaningful to me because Almadina is where my teaching career began. Returning to the school where I first had the privilege of serving students is truly a full-circle moment. To come back now as Superintendent is both an honour and a responsibility that I embrace with great enthusiasm.
Over the past three decades, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of educational roles and leadership positions. Those experiences have shaped my belief that every decision should be guided by one fundamental principle: doing what is best for students.
Almadina has a proud tradition of academic excellence, strong values, and meaningful partnerships with families. I am excited to work alongside our Board of Directors, dedicated staff, supportive families, and outstanding students as we continue to build on that strong foundation.
As Superintendent, I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Together, we will continue to create learning environments where every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
I believe the strongest schools are built through partnership, trust, and open communication. I look forward to meeting many of you throughout the school year, listening to your perspectives, celebrating our successes, and working together to shape an even brighter future for Almadina.
