ALCA Board Of Trustees

Mr. Emad Jeha - BOARD CHAIR

EmadEmail: [email protected]

I have called Calgary home for 38 years, and Almadina holds a special place in my heart because I was a student at the very first Almadina school built in 1996. The values, education, and sense of community I experienced during my time at the school helped shape who I am today.

I am the Owner and CEO of Priority Hauling and Contracting Ltd., where I have had the opportunity to build and grow a successful business. Through my work, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, accountability, and planning skills that continue to guide me both professionally and in my service to the community.

As a proud father of three, a former Almadina student, and a parent, I have a deep appreciation for the important role Almadina plays in supporting students and families. Giving back to the school community is truly meaningful to me, and I am honored to serve as President and Chair of the Board.

I am grateful for the opportunity to support the continued success of Almadina and look forward to working alongside students, families, staff, and community members to help build on the strong foundation that makes Almadina such a special place.

My wife Kamilia and I have 4 children and they are the most important part of our lives. I have lived in Calgary, AB for my whole life and love it here. I went to the University of Calgary and I am the current CEO of Liquids Matter Inc. an Analytical Laboratory company. I am a Scientist and a businessman.

My vision for the school is one that carries on what has been built so far; but also builds on it. I think we have a great school system, and it can be made better with a little effort. I am certainly for a high school, but against making a hasty decision that will negatively impact our children right before post-secondary. We need a good facility for our children to attend high school, so that we are setting them up for success.
